Macaroni and Cheese
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of butter divided
- 1/4 cup of flour
- 1 cup of milk
- 16 oz. Velveeta(TM) cheese
- 2-3 cups of cooked elbow macaroni
- 1 cup of shredded sharp cheddar
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 6-8 Ritz(TM) cracker crumbled
Instructions
- Heat oven to 350 degrees
- Melt 3 tbs butter
- Whisk in flour
- Cook 2 minutes
- Slowly stir in milk
- Cook 3-5 minutes stirring constantly until thick
- Add Velveeta and cream cheese. Cook until melted
- Add macaroni
- Pour into a greased 2 qt casserole dish
- Sprinkle remaining cheddar on top
- Melt remaining butter and toss with cracker crumbs.
- Bake 20-30 minutes until heated.
